Hello,
Find out the top ten grammar schools in the UK based on their academic performance and Progress 8 scores.
Academic performance has been measured by the number of students who achieved more than 5 A* to C grades at GCSE.
Progress 8 is a new way of measuring a school’s performance which is considered more accurate at understanding the students’ abilities. The scores go from -1 to +1, where +1 indicates that students are achieving one grade higher in each qualification compared to similar pupils in other schools. The Department of Education says that schools that score +0.5 and higher are considered above average.
